What rim size for Talaria MX3, MX4, Sting & MX5?

The Talaria MX3, MX4, Sting and MX5 have become benchmarks for off-road, road, and supermoto preparations. But one question often comes up: what rim sizes are compatible for front and rear depending on the model?

The Talaria MX3, MX4, and Sting models share a very similar base. Rim compatibility is therefore similar, making the choice of dimensions easier.

Talaria MX5 2025

The Talaria MX5 is a newer model with a revised chassis. It allows for a wider choice of sizes: enduro, supermoto, urban or mini/fun.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mount 17/17 on Talaria MX5?

Yes. This is even the most popular Supermoto configuration: 17 × 2.50 front and 17 × 3.50 rear.

Can I mount a 21-inch wheel on an MX3, MX4 or Sting?

No. These models are not designed to accommodate a 21" wheel. We recommend sticking to the dimensions indicated in this guide.

Which setup should I choose to start?

MX3 / MX4 / Sting: 19"/16" for an excellent compromise between stability and maneuverability.

MX5: 19"/16" for versatile use or 21"/18" for enduro riding.

Which setup for exclusively Supermoto use?

The 17 × 2.50 front / 17 × 3.50 rear setup remains the benchmark for a Talaria intended for road use.
